As the evening shadows lengthened at Anza Borrego, I went wildlife hunting with my Canon (one "n" is correct). With a couple of windy exceptions, it was peaceful time of day with few people interrupting my pursuit of the wily.

Around home, the advantage goes to the hunted as the tangle of chaparral provides a million hidey-holes to disappear into. On the desert, I have more free range. I needed it.
