Coos
After two years of RV trailering, I still haven't the knack for a well-oiled trip. If I had, we might have known to stay longer in Coos Bay and maybe found a desirable RV park nearby. As it was, we made a stop of a few hours and thoroughly emersed ourselves in the random walk along the boardwalk and the immediate down town. Lunch at the elegant vegetarian restaurant set the mood for the rest of the day.
We stayed in one of the less charming of the commercial RV "Parks" the night before Coos Bay. Set amidst a coastal forest, this clear cut parking lot had all the amenities of a super fund dump plus loud, unsupervised children. Qute a plunge from the state parks we had just left.
